In the Super Boot III, the GORE-TEX® lining surrounds your foot. Along with being a barrier to water penetration, this lining also resists perspiration and contamination by petroleum, oils, and lubricants. At the same time, it lets perspiration escape the boot, so your feet stay dry and comfortable. And the non-melt Vibram® shipboard sole gives you excellent shock absorbency and traction. These boots may have a minor cosmetic blemish that will not effect functionality. We have never had a boot or shoe fail military inspection.
